We are a local babywearing group aimed to provide you with support and information about babywearing.
This age-old idea of wearing your baby has many benefits for both mum and baby. Some of these are:
Come along to one of our gatherings and view the different types of carriers available from our lending library. Find out how to use them safely with your child and then go out in the community for a babywearing walk. We're not just another coffee group - we like to get out and about with our babies and tots!
We try to rotate between between towns so everyone has a chance of attending - if you would like to have a gathering in your town please feel free to contact us and we'll arrange one for you.
Our lending library is for you to try out different carriers to find what suits you best. It is not for long-term hire.
The following carriers are available through our lending library:
To borrow from our library you must be a registered member. Membership is an annual fee of $10. Carriers are hired out at $5 per fortnight. A $50 bond is also required when borrowing - this is refunded upon return of the carrier. Additional terms can be found on our membership registration form which can be downloaded below.

- Convenient and hands-free. Get on with your normal daily life by taking baby with you.
- Studies have shown that babies who are held more often are happier and cry or fuss less.
- A happy baby also means that mum (or caregiver) will be happier too.
- Being held upright helps with digestion - this means that babywearing will help ease symptoms of colicky and reflux babies.
- With the rights clothes bub can have skin-to-skin which promotes breastfeeding and bonding.

- Dulce & Zoet Sling - large fits approx size 12-14 (pouch)
- Bear Hug ring sling
- Nature's Sway sling

- Peanutshell Sling - medium fits approx size 10-12 (pouch)
